Alumni Retreat
SOUL FLOW DOLPHIN & DECOMPRESSION RETREAT FOR ALUMNI IN KONA
April 17 - 24, 2016
We welcome you to join us for a 7-day Soul Flow Dolphin and Decompression Retreat. This is what all of our alumni have asked for!
According to participants from the 2015 retreat, swimming with the dolphins on the Kona side was the perfect way to end their soul flow journey in Hawaii. This post-retreat option is an incredible opportunity to process, integrate, and ground the many lessons and revelations that will undoubtedly be sparked during the Beauty that Transforms intensive program. Transition and “re-entry” after a deeply transformational journey such as this can be very difficult, so we highly recommend you schedule some time for gentle decompression, whether it’s with us at this retreat, or elsewhere.
This retreat is also a great way to celebrate the new friendships and ohana (family) that will be birthed during your time at Kalani, or for alumni, to reunite with the soul flow ohana that was birthed at last year’s retreat!
While this event will offer yoga, flow and include a few informal workshops, the schedule will be less structured to give more time to relax, connect with yourself, your new friends, our dolphin friends, and to FLOW! There will be plenty of time to swim with the dolphins, kayak, snorkel and celebrate under the Full Moon.
Please note spots are limited and will fill quickly! This event is being offered first to the Soul Flow Alumni from Beauty that transforms 2015 and 2016.
Alumni are free to bring a guest!

ACCOMMODATIONS
This is one of the best parts.
Hale Nai'a is located right on the water and is the most visible house at Kaleakekua Bay where we'll swim with the dolphins the most (there are 2 other places we'd go as well). It was highly recommended by our good friends who have lived in the area for years and it's truly a dream to have the opportunity to stay there.

TRAVEL INFO:
FLYING TO HAWAII, "THE BIG ISLAND"
Option 1: Fly to Hilo (ITO)
If you are planning to attend the post retreat soul flow excursion on Oahu, be sure to fly direct to Honolulu from the mainland, and fly to Hilo from Honolulu.
Fly direct to Hilo from the mainland or from other island airports such as Honolulu on Oahu, Kahului on Maui, Lihue on Kauai, or Kona, here on the west side of Hawaii, the Big Island. Several flights are offered daily with Hawaiian Airlines (1-800-367-5320) and go! Airlines (1-888-IFLYGO2). There is one direct flight from Los Angeles everyday on United Airlines (1-800-864-8331). There is also a direct flight from Denver on United Airlines.
Kalani is only a 45-minute drive from the Hilo airport. There is also very limited public transportation via the Hele-On county bus that leaves from downtown Hilo. This is a slow, but inexpensive option, that comes right to Kalani if you can coordinate schedules. For more info visit the Hele-On bus website.
Option 2: Fly to Kona (KOA)
Kalani is a 2.5 - 3-hour scenic drive from Kona, halfway around the Island of Hawaii, "the Big Island", via either the northern or southern routes, or the newly finished Saddle road passing Mauna Kea.
Be sure to check with airlines about their offerings of special car rental rates!
KALANI AIRPORT SHUTTLE
We offer transportation (from Hilo only) for $65 one way, or $45 per person if more than one traveler. We try to combine whenever possible. A regular taxi costs about $90. Call or email us with your arrival and departure information as soon as you've purchased your airline ticket. We are happy to reserve your pickup and dropoff to and from the Hilo Airport.
RENTAL CAR
We highly recommend sharing a rental car with other participants. This will give you more freedom during breaks, on the free day, and to be able to shop for any snacks or accessories before getting to Kalani. Kalani does not serve any alcohol, so if you would like a bottle of wine for the celebration night, you must bring it in from outside Kalani and there are no stores nearby once you get there.
WEATHER/PACKING
Rain gear, light layered clothing, will be hot and humid during some workshop times, bring headlamp, shoes for hiking volcano, music with playlists you’d like to share, bathing suit. Please bring a piece for our collective alter! Altar piece can come from the beautiful Kalani grounds as well. A more detailed packing list will be sent to you upon registration.
Poi, Hoop, Journal, video taking device
* Poi & Hoops will be available for purchase!
ROOM REQUESTS
If there is someone you would specifically like to room with who is in the same price bracket as you, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
